Déjà vu van

File # 2017-297

On January 10 at approximately 4:00 p.m., two Oceanside RCMP officers on patrol in the Coombs area located an occupied van well known to them. They proceeded to approach the van as they needed to question the passenger about a prior criminal matter. What they discovered next was truly a shock.

As was the case earlier reported on January 4, (see press release here) the same woman, in the same van, under the same blanket was discovered hiding. Again the female was arrested and taken before the courts to explain why she refuses to abide by her court imposed condition. Namely, to avoid contact with a man, who was again a passenger in the van.

I'm all for carpooling, but this woman really should consider catching a ride from someone else. - States Cpl. Foreman
